Most Ogryns and their kind are considered brutes, little better than beasts. The giants generally don't mind this, as it allows them to maintain a fearsome reputation.
However, there are exceptions far more common than some would like to admit. From ingenious blacksmiths to tacticians to scholars. Yes, surprising as it may seem, there are Ogryns who are not only able to read—a shocking notion in itself!—but who also enjoy learning.
Of course, not everyone strives for the simple pleasure of learning. Some pursue entirely selfish, sometimes even sinister goals. Such is the case with the mysterious cultist Ogryn, whose brute strength and tenacity are surpassed only by the terrible powers he wields.
Covered in occult runes, he turns the spells and curses inflicted on him by enemy magicians against them and their allies, using their essence to reinforce his attacks. But such corruption rarely comes without a price: it poisons the cultist's flesh, driving him to bring the curse upon his enemies.
