History of Rampart
Dwarf heavy infantry are renowned for holding the line against all odds, standing like a cliff against the onslaught of waves. Their armor absorbs the most violent blows without flinching, their shields form an impenetrable wall, and when their enemies retreat, exhausted, the line advances in perfect formation to the sound of drums and horns.
When their flails strike, they paralyze and weaken the enemy. Some are even equipped with alchemical fire braziers, allowing a precise strike to set their target ablaze. The Bulwark's main weapon, however, is its discipline and defensive tactics, which not only repel the enemy, but also keep them at a disadvantage for as long as possible.
