History of Bolint l'Affranchi

The Free City of Onungburg was a densely populated trading hub near an unusually accessible pass in the Red Peak Mountains. Terrible overcrowding and countless pests led to a large population of Skinwalkers, and due to its proximity and cultural exchange with the Kingdom of Frostheim to the north, its residents were more tolerant of them than any other Free City.

Onungburg was one of the few Free Cities to maintain its neutrality during the Kaerok War, albeit warily and precariously, due to its importance as a center of trade. However, Kaerok's suppliers were disgusted to see Skinwalkers moving freely around the city.

One of these was Bolint, whom their dark looks and insults angered. He had spent years working as a scrap metal dealer for a human named Drouff, both before and after his transformation. The man had always been kind to him, and in return, Bolint was extremely loyal to him.

After the War, discrimination against the Skinwalkers escalated and developed into the Red Crusade. Onungburg then became a haven for dispossessed people from all corners of Kaerok.
