To mount it 6*. Super champion who will necessarily play first (except against another hegemon or the one with the most speed will play). History of Hegemon
There are countless tales of bravery and skill demonstrated by the Champions of Lumaya over the millennia. Brave knights, whose skill with the sword is unmatched, wise mages, by whose mere word the mountains crumble, daring thieves and hardy soldiers. But neither should those who follow the path of shadow be underestimated. The Hegemon is an imposing presence on any battlefield, their mastery of the blade matched only by their ability to direct the attacks of their minions. It is said that he was a noble champion of his people and a scourge of evildoers. He defeated many enemies in this past life, and brought victory to many battles. But with such skill often comes pride, and with pride – the seed of arrogance that has brought down so many heroes. Assured of his superiority and his wisdom, the champion had renounced his lord, putting aside his vows and his loyalty. Henceforth he was called the Hegemon, the only deserving ruler whose right was won by blood and sword. Many soldiers under his command, seduced by the hegemon's charisma, joined his rebellion and marched into the lands of his rivals. It took many months of bloody warfare and the joint efforts of the border lords of Kaerok and Aravian, along with a mission from the Holy Order, to put an end to the Hegemon's campaign and defeat its army. The rebel champion flees after single-handedly killing the men-at-arms in pursuit. His fall complete, he swore revenge on the people of Teleria and entrusted his soul to Siroth and his mortal servants. One day, when his rivals among the renegade Revenant Knights are defeated, the Hegemon will gather a new army and march on Kaerok. Their champions will fall to his blade, their people must bow or face the consequences of denying his ambition.
