History of Maîtresse des Hymnes

The march of a commandery of the Sacred Order to war is always a grand affair. Rows and rows of knights and soldiers kneel beneath fluttering banners, chanting powerful vows of obedience and bravery in the old language. The power of her voice and the purity of her faith are such that champions see their determination strengthened and their wounds heal under Lumaya's gaze. Even death is not enough to extinguish the flames of hope.

When all seems lost and the need is greatest, the Hymn of Rebirth rings out across the battlefield, bringing those who have fallen in battle back to life. Protected from the enemy's gaze by a blinding light, they can recover and rejoin the fray once more.
