His A1 Berserker debuff does NOT work on bosses, but it does work on almost all boss helpers, which, in combination with Hex, can also mean a damage boost against the boss if played correctly. But even in PvP, the Berserker is a feared tool for quickly taking out enemy “tanks” such as Mithrala and Co.
His A2 is great in every part of the game, and since it is distributed independently of AOE and color, it is even stronger. It is also important to note that although it is an “attack,” it does not affect hit counters like the Sand Devil, for example.
Finally, there is A3, which is probably the strongest single Max HP Nuke in the game on its own, as it ALWAYS ignores 100% Defense, meaning you are not forced to use “Def Ignore” when choosing equipment, making it extremely useful and powerful even in the very early stages of the game.
Now his absolutely unique passive comes into play, which is triggered after 9 moves, regardless of whether these are 9 moves by your own heroes or the opposing side, or a mixture of both. In theory, this alone would allow you to build a permanently active “block damage” team, but this would only be possible later in the game with the necessary speed values. Nevertheless, this passive is unique because the integrated buff distribution is also almost unique. All buffs that Odin has when triggering his passive (including block damage) are distributed to the group. Since Odin can steal buffs with his A3, this is also extremely powerful. AND temporary heals are doubled for other players and himself. If the group and Odin have 2 continuous heals before triggering his passive, all 2 of these heals are additionally received when the passive is triggered, so everyone in the group then has 4 continuous heals. This is a great ability and is extremely often active in a very fast team. Odin's passive becomes particularly interesting when combined with heroes who regularly receive additional turns.
