History of Teshada

As ferocious and capricious as her fiery hair would suggest, Teshada is a skilled warrior whose reputation has grown among her allies and foes alike despite her young age. Daughter of the Amber Moon Clan, banished to the Krokhan Desert several generations ago but attached to ancient customs, she was subjected to rigorous training as soon as she could walk. Both boys and girls must know how to handle a weapon, whether it's a noble sword, a bow that strikes true, a powerful hammer... For Teshada, the combination of an ax and a shield turned out to be the best choice. Although she channels her fury into powerful strikes, the weight of the shield in her hand still reminds the young warrior of the importance of defense. However, what really sets this red-haired girl apart is her connection to the spirits of the ancestors that her clan reveres. As a young girl, Teshada got lost in a violent sandstorm that surprised her outside the village. While many believed her dead, as even experienced clansmen too often perished in such storms, the search for the body yielded unexpected results. The young girl, alive and unharmed, was found hiding in a small cave perched among the cliffs of the nearby oasis. She claimed it was a Clan scout who led her there. But of the mysterious man there was no trace, and no scouting party had come out that day. Such encounters were repeated in the future, but it was not until many years later that the clan's shaman finally accepted Teshada under his wing and taught him how to harness this bond. Today, she can use boons from the spirits to bring back allies who have recently passed to the realm of the dead. But as with everything, there is a price to pay – spirits demand life in exchange for life. Fortunately, there is no shortage of appropriate sacrifices in combat.
