You can grow magic plants in Hogwarts Legacy. The game includes 8 plants whose seeds you can gather by following the steps indicated in this tutorial.

Obtain the seeds of all 8 plants in Hogwarts Legacy
All 8 plants can be found by following the main story, finishing the quest N°12 (Botany course) for the first, then buying the seeds for the remaining 7 from the 2 Hogsmeade stores Magic Neep & Dogweed and Deathcap, for a total cost of €3,800, which you can get by selling items you've collected that you don't need, or Beasts in Brood and Peck for example.
Here are the names of the 8 plants and how to get them:
- Dittany (small plant) which is unlocked automatically after quest N°12.
- Fluxweed seed (small plant) to buy at Magic Neep for 350.
- Knotweed seed (small plant) available from Magic Neep at 350.
- Mallow seed (small plant) at Magic Neep at 200.
- Shrivelfig Seed (medium plant) at Magic Neep at 450.
- Chinese cabbage seed (medium plant) at Dogweed and Deathcap at 600.
- Mandrake seed (large plant) at Dogweed and Deathcap at 800.
- Venomous Tentacle Seed (Large Plant) at Dogweed and Deathcap at 1050.
Grow the plants
Even if you have collected all the seeds, you must first have completed quest #21 to be able to grow them, as you will need the conjuration spell, which is only unlocked at this level of the game, where you will have permanent access to the Room of Requirement by quickly navigating the Hogwarts map and going through the Secret rooms.
Once the required level is reached, you can start planting your seeds. You will need potting tables whose dimensions vary according to the size of the plant to be cultivated. Depending on the number of tables you need (you can use up to 7 at the same time with the possibility of putting several pots on them), you can buy some from the shop Tomes and Scrolls at a price of €1,000.
Once the table is ready, all you have to do is say the conjuration spell to put it in place and grow each of the 8 plants on it (they grow after 10-15 min of play depending on their size). You can put them in your trophies and achievements in the game after a first harvest.
