In this guide, I explain how to complete the side quest challenge One Punch Man on Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.

Part 1: Talking with Ono Puncho

To launch the challenge One Punch Man, you have to talk with Ono Puncho in the Village des Gestrals.

You will find him near the Arena and you will recognize him by his violet in appearance and quite strong compared with other Gestrals.

By talking to him, he'll put you in the challenge him to inflict 9999 damage in a single blow.

Part 2: Pre-challenge preparation

Before you begin, you need to make a few preparations to ensure you deal 9,999 damage. The advantage of this quest is that you can with Gustave or Lune.

Part 3: Completing the One Punch Man challenge

Choose either Gustave or Lune to complete this side-quest, then talk to Ono Puncho again to launch the challenge.

1. Completing the challenge with Gustave

Use the Recovery skill to fill your overload gauge to level 8.
Skip your turn to earn AP (Action Points)
You must have enough AP to follow with Overpower then Overload.
When you launch Overload, make sure that you pass the QTE to boost your damage.

2. Moon challenge

Use Petite Teinte Énergisante to boost your APs to the max.
Shoot Ono Puncho until only 5 AP points left.
Make sure you have at least one yellow Pigment after shootingIf not, load your previous backup and start again.
Cast your Overwhelming Wave skill and make sure you pass the QTE to boost your damage.

Once you've successfully completed the challenge, Ono Puncho will congratulate you and offer you a reward. You'll unlock the Maelle's Sakapatate outfit.
