Clair Obscur: Expedition 33: One Punch Man [Side quest] : Zen Cart!

The Side Quest One Punch Man of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 asks you to inflict at least 9,999 damage in a single hit at Ono Puncho, a burly Gestral from the Gestrals Village.

Complete this challenge and you'll unlock the outfit Sakapatate to Maelle.

Part 1: Talking with Ono Puncho in Clair Obscur Expedition 33

To start the challenge, go to Gestrals Village and look for Ono Puncho on the’Arena. Its name is a direct nod to the series One Punch Man, and its appearance purple and sturdy makes it impossible to miss among the other gestrals.

Talk to him, and he'll challenge you. The entire quest One Punch Man of Clair Obscur Expedition 33 is based on this principle: to strike Ono Puncho just once, with enough power.

Part 2: Preparations Before the Challenge in Clair Obscur Expedition 33

Before entering the arena of the Gestrals Village, you need to optimize your character. You can take on the challenge with Gustave or with Moon, depending on your build. In either case, the logic is the same: stack the Pictograms that boost your damage, set your power to maximum, then strike once. Aim for a minimum level of 20 to have enough leeway.

Here is the recommended setup for each character:

With Gustave, put together the Pictograms Last Bulwark Critical and Last Reinforcing Rampart as well as the Lone Wolf.

Charge your "Overload" to 8 or 9, not 10: at maximum charge, "Overload" becomes a 2-hit combo, and the challenge only counts one hit.

With Moon, the combination Overwhelming wave and Trébuchim allows you to reach the required threshold. Make sure you have your Pictograms Get into position and make sure your power is at its maximum before entering the arena.

Part 3: Completing the One Punch Man challenge

Is your character ready? Talk to Ono Puncho to start the fight.

1. Complete the challenge with Gustave in Clair Obscur Expedition 33

1. Use the skill 10 to raise your overload gauge to at least 8 (10 is the maximum and deals even more damage).
2. Skip your turn to earn PA (Action Points).
3. Make sure you have enough AP to Use "Overpower" followed by "Overload" in the same turn.
4. Spear Overload and pull off the QTE to maximize your damage.

2. Complete the challenge with Lune in Clair Obscur Expedition 33

1. Use A Touch of Energy to boost your APs to the max.
2. Shoot at Ono Puncho until there is nothing left but 5 AP points.
3. Make sure you have at least one Yellow pigment after you've fired. If you don't have one, reload your previous save and try again.
4. Spear Overwhelming wave and pass the QTE to exceed the threshold of 9999 damage.
