How do you find lost Gestrals?
The Lost Gestrals are the nine children of Sastro, a family man named Gestral whom you run into at the camp. After the Rift, his children found themselves scattered to the four corners of the map. He gives you a award every time you bring him one.
This walkthrough covers the 9 locations on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series. The quest is optional, but no Gestral is permanently lost: you can go back and collect them at your own pace, in any order. Here’s what you need to know before you go hunting:
- The the first two Gestrals are available from the start, with no special skills required.
- For the seven others, you'll need the skills of’Esquie to reach remote islands and areas.
- Complete the 9 Gestrals unlocks the “Les Gestrals perdus” trophy” and allows you to destroy the blue rocks that block certain areas.

Each Gestral reduced to Sastro to camp earns you an immediate reward. Here is the complete list of awards depending on the number of Gestrals saved:

In addition to these rewards, completing the 9 Gestrals unlocks the ability to destroy the blue rocks that block certain areas, as well as the “Les Gestrals perdus” trophy”. Given the haul, it's definitely worth the trip.
