How to get Points of Hogwarts Legacy talent?
The procedure is simple. All you have to do is raise the level of your sorcerer or witch, and for each level after level 5, you'll receive one talent point to allocate as you wish.
This means that you can potentially earn about 35 points talent (one per level) by taking the time to level up your character all the way.
Acquiring talent points in Hogwarts Legacy is a relatively easy operation, but slightly problematic because you must :
- Reach the Map Room by pursuing the main quest Le repos de Richard Choucas involving the ghost of Richard Choucas.
- You will encounter this spirit during the’one of four different quests, depending on your choice of house at the beginning of the adventure. You must then follow him to a mysterious cave where he attempts to take you back to the place where he was when he died.
- This room was the Map Room, a room full of ancient magic where you will be attracted by large executives of the room. You'll discover a portrait of Professor Rackham, who possesses the same ability as your character to see ancient magic.
- This is when Talent Points are unlocked, allowing you to assign them to your character.
Hogwarts Legacy: how many talent points?
In Hogwarts Legacy, there are a total of 35 talent points to unlock and use. Note that previously, once spent, a talent point could not be reallocated. Fortunately, with the update, this is now possible!
How do I reset my talent points?
Before you start, you'll need to have selected your house and received your Sorcerer's Guide to use this talent point reset feature!
To do this :
- Stop the game, then choose Talents from the list at the top of the page, using L1/R1 orSelect the Talents page from the circular pad menu, then open your Sorcerer's Guide.
- Simply click on “Square/X” depending on your controller to reset all your skills.
According to the information available, it seems that there is no limit, which will allow you to always have the best talent at your disposal, so take advantage of it!
But is it possible to acquire all the talent points in Hogwarts Legacy?
The answer is no! Only 35 talent points are available, while there are 48 talents. Since the maximum level is set at 40, once you reach that point, you will no longer be able to accumulate talent points. Therefore, not all talents will be accessible in Hogwarts Legacy.
How do I use talent points in Hogwarts Legacy?
Hogwarts Legacy gives players access to a wide variety of magic spells, potions and plants that can be used in combat and exploration, which is already very advantageous for progressing quickly. But to all this are added Talent Points to improve their favorite magic spells and equipment, by reinforcing their usefulness or their lethality (for those who resort to darker spells).
- For example, players can spend a talent point in the stealth tree to reduce the likelihood of an enemy noticing it when using the Disillusion spell or in the base tree to give yourself more spell shortcuts.
- This allows players to address certain objectives stealthily rather than being outnumbered in a fight or having a wider variety of spells in hand.
- Players can also decide to spend a point in the room tree on demand to improve Edurus potion to make yourself invincible for a brief period.
