The Clock Tower puzzle is one of the secret Hogwarts challenges to solve in Hogwarts Legacy.
Various puzzles and mysteries are offered to players in the mystical world of Hogwarts Legacy. Indeed, Hogwarts has secrets hidden within the school grounds, such as the puzzle of the clock tower, that of the bell tower or even that of the bridge of the viaduct courtyard.
The Clock Tower can be found at the Crossed Wand Dueling Club and can be unlocked after completing the Gladwin Moon quest. By managing to solve the puzzle, you will have a very generous reward such as a wand handle, decorative objects and legendary equipment. Here's how to achieve it.

Solving the clock tower puzzle in Hogwarts Legacy
To solve it, you need to unlock four doors by freezing the clock pendulum on the correct door symbol. The pendulum swings between four symbols that correspond to the locked doors of the clock tower:
- The unicorn symbol: Door to the first floor.
- Owl symbol: Door to the second floor.
- Symbol of the two dragons: Third floor door.
- Scarab symbol: Fourth floor door
Each gate offers the following rewards:
- Unicorn Gate: Decoration Chest.
- Owl Gate: Chest with eyes.
- Two Dragon Gate: Decoration Chest and Wand Handle Chest.
- Scarab Gate: Legendary Equipment Chest.
Learning the Glacius or Arresto Momentum spell is vital to freezing or holding the clock pendulum in place. Additionally, the Alohomora spell is essential to unlocking the locked door to the Clock Tower in the Cross Wand Dueling Club. The mentioned spells can be obtained after completing these quests in Hogwarts Legacy:
- Assignment No. 1 of Madame Kogawa (Ice Spell).
- Madame Kogawa's Assignment #2 (Sort Momentum Arresto).
- The caretaker's lunar complaint (spell Alohomora).
As a reward for completing Madam Kogawa's missions, she will teach you the first two spells, while Gladwin Moon will teach you the third spell. The latter can be upgraded twice after collecting Demiguise Statues and bringing them back to Mr. Moon.
How to get to the clock tower in Hogwarts Legacy?
To unlock her, you must complete the quest The Janitor's Moon's Complaint, which is triggered after interacting with Gladwin Moon, who has found several Demiguise statues in Hogwarts. The janitor is terrified of their existence and thinks he is being pranked by some students.
Next, Gladwin Moon teaches you the Alohomora spell to allow you access to the hospital wing. You will complete the first part of the quest by finding the Demiguise Statues and returning them to Moon. So you can access the clock tower and at the same time you can access it by unlocking the locked doors of the Crossed Wand Dueling Club with the Alohomora spell.
