The list of Google Play Pass games

To remember :

• Launched in 2019, Google Play Pass is a subscription service for apps and games, offering unlimited access without ads or in-app purchases.
• The service offers a wide range of games classified by categories such as action, adventure, card games, etc., making it easy to search for games according to user preferences.
• Available in many regions, Google Play Pass offers subscription plans for €4.99 per month or €29.99 per year, with a free one-month trial to test the service.

In 2019, Google launched its own Google Play subscription service: the Google Play Pass. The principle is the same as that of the Netflix subscriptions, Amazon Prime, Hulu, or Spotify, but this plan is focused on video games and can be used right away from the Play Store on your Android device.

Specifically, the Google Play Pass subscription offers access to more than 1,000 Android titles and apps, with no ads or in-app purchases, for €4.99/month or €29.99/year, with one free month to try out the service.

What are the best games on Google Play Pass?

With over 1,000 titles in the catalog, it's easy to get lost. To get the most out of your subscription right away, here are the must-have apps you should install first:

• Stardew Valley : The cult-classic farm life simulation. A peaceful, incredibly comprehensive, and addictive RPG that easily offers over a hundred hours of gameplay.
• Slay the Spire : The gold standard of card-based roguelikes. You build your deck as you fight your way up a tower, with each attempt being completely unique.
• Dead Cells : A challenging and fast-paced action-platformer (Metroidvania-style). You explore a constantly changing castle where death is part of the progression.
• Monument Valley 1 & 2 : Poetic puzzle games based on optical illusions and impossible architecture. A deeply memorable visual and Zen-like experience.
• Terraria : A massive 2D adventure sandbox game. Often compared to a side-view Minecraft, it emphasizes exploration, weapon crafting, and boss-style combat.
• Limbo : A dark, minimalist black-and-white puzzle-platformer. Its mysterious and oppressive atmosphere has made it a classic of the indie gaming scene.
• Star Wars: KOTOR (Knights of the Old Republic) : A landmark in space role-playing games, featuring a deep storyline and powerful moral choices, perfectly suited for touchscreens.
• Mini Metro : A streamlined strategy and management game in which you must design and optimize the subway network of a rapidly growing city.
• Alto’s Odyssey : An endless runner game with stunning graphics and a relaxing soundtrack, perfect for short play sessions.

Is Google Play Pass worth it?

It all depends on your gaming style. For €4.99/month (or €29.99/year—half price with a free one-month trial), this subscription unlocks hundreds of paid games (Stardew Valley, Monument Valley, etc.) with no ads and no in-app purchases.

It’s worth noting that if you play regularly, it’s an investment that quickly pays for itself. But for other types of players, it’s still unnecessary.

🟢 This is especially beneficial for you if:

• Are you looking for high-quality games : Do you enjoy real, full-featured, in-depth games without commercial breaks?.
• You play as a family : That's the big selling point. You can share the subscription with up to 5 friends or family members. Everyone gets to enjoy it on their own device for the same price.
• Do you have children? : It's completely secure. There's no risk of inappropriate ads or surprise in-app purchase charges.

🔴 This isn't for you if:

• You play very little : If you play a game three times a month just to pass the time, a subscription is a waste of money.
• You only play free games : If your favorite games are already free (and aren't part of the Play Pass catalog), the subscription won't change your experience.
