To remember:
- The "Hogwarts Legacy" game features a quest in which two potions must be used simultaneously, a challenge given by Professor Sharp after the main Jackdaw's Rest quest.
- When you complete the mission assigned to you by Professor Sharp, you can learn the Repulso spell.useful for repelling objects and enemies without inflicting direct damage.
- To drink the Edurus and Maxima potions at the same time, you need to prepare them and then activate them quickly one after the other.
Hogwarts Legacy is an open-world role-playing game (RPG) and action-adventure, in which you must use the best spells for better progress. After completing the Jackdaw's Rest main quest, you'll receive a quest from Professor Sharp called Teacher's homework Sharp 1. It can be tricky to drink two potions at the same time in this game.
The latter will require you to do two things: obtain and use a concentration potion, then obtain the Maxima and Edurus potions, and use them simultaneously. It's not made clear in the game exactly what it means to use two potions at once. That's why we're going to take a closer look, to make things easier for you and help you complete your quest.

Get the reward for Professor Sharp's first assignment to use potions simultaneously
At the end of Professor Sharp's mission, you will be able to learn the sort Repulso. This is a Force spell that can repel many types of objects and enemies. It does not inflict direct damage, but can cause objects and enemies to collide with each other, with devastating results. This spell can be used to move and rotate objects in a variety of circumstances.
Drink both potions simultaneously
Once you've made the potions Maxima and Edurus to use them at the same time:
- Hold down the L1 button to open the tool wheel.
- Hover over one of the potions, then release L1 to brew it.
- Once it is ready, you must drink it by pressing the L1 button again (without holding it down).
- Once the potion's effects are activated, go ahead and quickly brew the second potion by repeating the process.
The game will know that you have activated two different potions simultaneously, fulfilling Professor Sharp's request.
Effects of both potions
Professor Sharp's task 1 is to prepare the Concentration Potion, the Maxima Potion and the Edurus Potion. To complete this assignment, you'll need to go to Hogsmeade to buy the recipe for the Concentration and Maxima potions from Pippin Potions.
As a reminder, the Edurus is made from two ingredients: dog fur and D'snakesbill eggs. It increases the drinker's defense for 20 seconds by covering him with a resistant stone skin.
As for the Potion MaximaIts spell-damage-increasing effect lasts 30 seconds. It can be prepared in a potion station with spider fangs and leech juice.

How do I use potions in Hogwarts Legacy?
The process differs according to the type of potion you want to use. Generally speaking, the first step is to get your hands on the potion you're going to drink. You have to prepare them in the room on demand, using the required ingredients, except for Wiggenweld or health potions. These can be obtained directly from chests and enemies.
Once you have your potions, press g if you're using a PC. If you're using a console, move down on the D-pad using a controller.
