Making Hogwarts legacy potions is one of the key skills to develop as an apprentice wizard. During your Potions course at Hogwarts, you'll learn to mix your own potions, which you'll use in battle. How many potions are there in Hogwarts Legacy?
Potions will be more than necessary, especially during times of battle, as they can increase your power. They are activated during your first potions lessons and there are 7 in total in Hogwarts Legacy, if we include that of Felix Felicis:
- Wiggenweld Potion: possesses the power of healing.
- The Edurus Potion: it can transform the drinker into his own person in the form of stone. increases the wizard's defense for 20 seconds during combat.
- Concentration Potion: reduces recharge times.
- Maxima Potion: increases the damage caused by the drinker for a limited time.
- Invisibility Potion: whoever drinks it becomes completely invisible for a certain period of time.
- The Breuvorage Potion: this potion produces a kind of tornado around the sorcerer who drinks it, provoking dizziness and damage to nearby enemies.
- And the Felix Felicis Potion: it is granted as a bonus available only to those who have pre-ordered the game. The sorcerer who drinks it becomes very lucky for a certain length of time.
How to prepare each potion?
Gather the necessary ingredients.
To obtain the potion recipes, you need to have completed the first quests in the main story. You'll then need to purchase the supplies in Hogsmeade, including a free recipe from Pippin's Potions. The other recipes (apart from Felix Felicis') are also available there, but at a cost of thousands of gallons, and of course include the list of ingredients.
Prepare the potions.
- The Potion Wiggenweld 1 Horglup juice and 1 Dictame leaf (preparation time: 15 seconds). It's for your health.
- The Potion Edurus 1 snakesbill egg and 1 dog fur (preparation time: 30 seconds)
- The Potion of concentration 1 Chrysope, 1 Sisymbrium stem and 1 Fangi tongue (preparation time: 1 minute)
- The Potion Maxima 1 Leech Juice and 1 Spider Fang (preparation time: 30 seconds)
- The Potion ofInvisibility 1 jumping poisonous mushroom hat, 1 sprig of polygonium and 1 troll nose booger (preparation time: 1 minute)
- The Potion Breuvorage (1 leech juice, 1 abyssinian fig fruit and 1 scent of death preparation time: 1 minute 30 seconds)
