RSL 4.10 update, information

RSL 4.10 update, information.

Translation of Plarium Highlights on 03/29/2020.

Greetings, Raiders!

It hasn't been long since our last Highlights were released, but we have a new update coming right after 4.00. It brings exciting additions to existing features: a Doom Tower update (two new Bosses, rebalanced rooms, new Artifact sets), new Champions (expect detailed news in a few days), and some improvements to searching and joining Clans. Read on to find out more!

Doom Tower Update
Doom Tower is one of Raid's biggest and most varied game modes, but what you've seen so far is just the beginning of what we've got planned. As it stands, we want to add two new rotations to Doom Tower, each with new challenges. What you will see in version 4.10 is the first of these rotations. It will include two new boss, two new sets of craftable artifacts in the forge, rebalanced floors, and new secret room requirements. Some of the old bosss will also return, but with a different affinity, so be prepared to adapt your tactics!

Of course, the old Doom Tower you've come to know isn't going away either. We'll just be rotating to make sure the challenges are fresh and not monotonous. And speaking of challenges, you can see the two new Bosses below:

Grythion the Celestial Griffin:

Spells in French here: https://www.alucare.fr/new-rsl-les-2-nouveaux-boss-de-la-doom-tower/

Fighting Grythion will require micro-management, very precise timing of buffs and debuffs, and tracking the stacks of Sky Bond he gains during the fight. It's up to you whether you trust the speed or the resistance to carry the team through!

As for the rewards, beating Grythion will net you Griffin Feathers which can be used to craft the Shiny Guardian Set in the Forge:

set of 4 artifacts: The bearer absorbs 10% of all damage inflicted on allied champions. Heals 10% of wearer's MAX HP each turn.

It is important to remember that Guardian Artifacts do not affect the damage dealt by [Poison] or [HP Burn] effects, nor friendly skills that cause damage to the caster.

Iragoth the Eternal Dragon:

As you can see in this chart, Iragoth loves to disrupt your team's active skills and take advantage of them. To make matters worse, it has 3 Ads to consider at all times; if you don't kill them before Iragoth uses his [Conjure Souls] or [Consume Souls] skills, you'll be in big trouble.

On the bright side, Iragoth isn't immune to skills that increase cooldown, so you can use that to your advantage. And if you manage to kill the Eternal Priest at the right time, your entire team's skills will no longer be on cooldown.

And if you defeat Iragoth, the dragon bones you collect can be used to craft the Bloodlust Set:

Set of 4 artifacts: C. RATE +12%. Heals 30% of damage inflicted.

Like the Lifesteal set, Bloodlust does not affect the damage dealt by the champion's [Poison] or [HP Burn] effects. However, it stacks with other Life Steal type skills.

Clan Improvements

  1. Here is a list of quality of life improvements to the clan search and application process that will be implemented in version 4.10:
  2. Filters (language, activity, power, etc.) will be added to the clan search tab and clan ranking.
  3. The clan leader will be able to set a clear criteria of player power to join the clan.
  4. Suggested clans will be displayed based on the player's power (if they meet the clan criteria) and the clan leader will need to be online for a maximum of 7 days.
  5. Players who are not yet part of a Clan will have the option to quickly join the first open Clan on their list of suggestions.
  6. The clan leader will be able to activate the clan promotion for 48 hours (once every 7 days).
  7. Players will be able to submit an application to another Clan, even if they are part of another Clan at the time.
  8. The Members tab will display the last login time of each player in the Clan.
  9. Clan invites will be available in the global chat.
  10. Clan invites will be available in the Player Info tab.

Others :

  1. Doom Tower leaderboards and top team info will now show the number of turns it took the player in question to beat a floor instead of time as is currently the case (will be implemented shortly after release date).
  2. The Battle Result tab will display the number of turns taken to beat the floor as well as the overall time
  3. In the penultimate fight with Agreth the Nether Spider, his maximum HP will be decreased in Doom Tower on Hard difficulty (floor 60 for current rotation, 70 for next, Agreth will be unaffected on other floors) . These changes will come after the launch of the second rotation of the Tower of Destiny.
