What is the definition of the founder badge?
First, it should be noted that the founder badge is only available to affiliate channels and partners of Twitch. However, if your channel is not in these categories, you cannot award founder badges. So to get it, you have to be the first Prime or paid subscriber of a channel, or one of the first 25 paid subscribers of a partner channel.
Is it possible to remove or reassign Twitch Founder Badges?
Technically, no. Indeed, founder badges are distributed, in small quantities, to those who financially support your channel. As a result, these badges cannot be deleted. On the other hand, if one of your founders decides to let his subscription expire, the badge will no longer be visible. However, it will still appear in your dashboard. And you can modify it at this time, only if the person decides not to subscribe anymore!
How to change who are the founders of your twitch channel?
It's simple, just go to your dashboard. In Channel Stats, then click View your subscriber details.
Then to do: manage your founders. You will be able to choose who are your founders of the channel by deleting those who are no longer subscribers, you will then have the choice to keep only those who are still subscribers or not.

The roles of the badge holders can be modified, ie: Editor, moderator or VIP. For your information, moderators are the most important on your channel. The VIP title is an honorary title to give to your most loyal subscribers. If you want to do a little update on these roles:
- Go to Community;
- Then, click Role Manager;
- To add a VIP member, type: Vip username;
- To add a moderator, type: mod username;
- If you change your mind and wish to cancel, click on unvip username or just cancel the modification of username.
How do I award a founder badge?
Awarding a Founder Badge is entirely dependent on how you awarded it. Therefore, there is no way to assign the founder badge to a user or subscriber on your own. Indeed, even if your subscriber has left your channel, he will still keep the badge as well as his status. However, it is possible to hide the founder badge in your settings. However, you cannot delete it in any way, because it is Twitch itself that distributes the badges. The latter is therefore not controlled by the owner of the Twitch channel.
The benefit of a Founder Badge is that you can track people who have been with you since you started your streaming journey. It is therefore a kind of reward to the precious support of this subscriber. For other subscribers, you can award subscription or loyalty badges as a thank you.
