While most dwarf armies emphasize discipline, some children of stone are far too wild to serve in the ranks of the army. These mavericks, often recruited from among the outcasts of dwarf society, are nevertheless useful. They may be wild, but they are nonetheless fierce warriors.

Slingers are one such unit: skirmishers recruited from the lowest castes of the kingdom, equipped with basic gear and tasked with harassing the enemy.
