History of Roshcard the tower
Nicknamed "the Tower" due to his imposing size and unyielding defensive combat methods, Seneschal Roshcard is well known within the ranks of the Sacred Order and beyond. Despite his high rank, he can always be found leading attacks and facing the worst dangers alongside his brothers and sisters.
One story tells of Roshcard's heroic actions during the siege of Dreadfang—an ancient ruin that had been transformed into a powerful fortress by a powerful vampire lord. Ignoring the odds, Roshcard set out with the vanguard of his army, personally leading the assault.
When the siege towers finally breached the walls and the ramps crashed onto the ramparts, it was the Seneschal who charged headlong into the hordes of ghouls and skeletal warriors. None could withstand his power, and the undead were swept away, thrown off the walls en masse with each blow of the holy warrior's hammer.
It is said that Roshcard's weapon emanated pure light when he faced the vampire lord in single combat and struck him down. With their master banished, the undead collapsed in turn and turned to dust.
On that day, Roshcard was hailed as the champion of Lumaya, not only by the Templars he led, but also by the townspeople who had suffered greatly at the hands of the vampire. Some even say that this was when his nickname was born, although there is no way to know for sure.
