Although archers remain, arguably, the most feared combat formation of nomads that roam the Dead Lands, underestimating their other warriors – especially those of the Hill Nomads – would be a grave mistake. You don't have to carry a bow to know the dunes like the palm of your hand, or to move unseen through the sandstorms that would send a stranger running for shelter. Trained to the point of instinctively understanding nature, these nomads can guide their allies through the most difficult terrain and help them prepare a deadly ambush for the enemy. Their knowledge of herbs allows them to have surprisingly effective healing salves with them at all times, ensuring that warriors who count the Hill Nomad among their friends will have timely help in tending to their wounds.
