1. Baki the Grappler (Season 1), 2001
Your starting point is the series Baki the Grappler (2001), in 24 episodes. Here we meet the franchise's hero, Baki Hanma, and his singular obsession: surpass Yujiro Hanma, his own father, nicknamed «the strongest man in the world.» His early career began with the’Underground Arena, a tournament of seasoned fighters where the young prodigy begins his training.
2. Baki the Grappler (Season 2), 2001
You move right on to the season 2, also 24 episodes. After his defeat at the hands of his father, Baki wants to take things to the next level and joins the Maximum Tournament. Faced with a rich and varied array of fighting styles, he learns to forge a a method that can be adapted to any subject, still with the goal of getting his revenge on Yujiro.
3. Baki: The Grappler — The Ultimate Fighter, 1994
Next comes a brief look back at the’45-minute OAV entitled The Ultimate Fighter (1994). Released before the 2001 series, it is a autonomous adaptation which summarizes Baki's very first fights from the early chapters of the manga. Save it for after the two 2001 seasons, because it adapts passages that were left out by them. Think of it as a bonus—no spoilers here.
4. Baki: The Most Evil Death Row Convicts, 2016
After that detour, let's take a big leap forward with Baki: Most Evil Death Row Convicts (2016). This 15-minute OAV short features five dangerous criminals sentenced to death who break out to face the world's best fighters. 5. Baki (Season 1), 2018

Baki deliberately gets himself imprisoned so he can face Biscuit Oliva, reputed to be the strongest man in the world after Yujiro, in the Great Prison Battle Saga. As soon as the’Episode 7, the bow Most Evil Death Row Convicts is explored in depth, with the 2016 OAV serving as a teaser for this showdown. The second part (episodes 19 to 26) adapts the Great Ratai Tournament : Baki heads to China to face off against Chinese martial arts masters, given that Yujiro will be there.
6. Baki (Season 2), 2020
This season on Netflix 13 episodes concludes the series Baki. She adapts the ending of the Great Ratai Tournament and the resulting clashes. The fighting intensifies even further, and the rivalry between Baki and his father reaches a new level.
7. Baki Hanma: Son of Ogre (Season 1), 2021
First installment of the series Baki Hanma on Netflix, in 12 episodes. Baki is sent to prison in’Arizona to face Biscuit Oliva, considered the freest man in the world behind bars.
This season adapts the story arc Son of Ogre from the manga Hanma Baki.
8. Baki Hanma: Son of Ogre (Season 2), 2023
The Conclusion of the Saga Baki Hanma on Netflix, in 27 episodes. This is where the long-awaited showdown between Baki and his father Yujiro.
