Hogwarts Legacy is full of side quests, side missions that aren't linear to the game's main story, but which you must complete if you want to complete the game at 100%.
Among the various side quests, the one called A Sweet Journey is available from level 5, after completing the Potions Lessons main quest. It is launched by Garreth Weasley, known to like to mix drinks of all kinds and allows obtaining as a reward apart from 180 XP and gold, a Quidditch Panel (which can be used in the room of demand).

Unfolding of the side quest A Sweet Journey in Hogwarts Legacy
The Sweet Journey side quest takes place in the Honeydukes Cellar, and is accessible after the first potion class. You can start it by going to the Great Hall of Hogwarts Castle to talk to Garreth Weasley, who will give you directions to a secret passage under the One-eyed Witch statue, leading to Honeydukes Cellar. Here are the instructions to access it:
- Find the one-eyed witch statue in the Grand Staircase.
- Interact with the statue, causing a scene where you'll be teleported down the secret passageway that leads to Honeydukes basement.
- Fix the broken elevator using Reparo.
- Take the chest behind the elevator after going down.
- Continue your journey through the passage.
- Burn the cobwebs blocking the path using Incendio.
Arrived at the edge of the cliff, you can choose to continue or go down to explore the cave. If you choose to continue, you will reach the main quest route, where you will need to find a way to the other side. Here is the trick to achieve this:
- Levitate the platform with Levioso and jump on it.
- Repair the broken platform with Reparo, then launch Levioso.
- Jump to cross.
- Again, clear cobwebs with Incendio.
- After fixing the broken platform, remove the latch from its path with Accio, then levitate it with Levioso.
When you're on the other side, you'll find yourself facing a locked door that opens with incendio to light the braziers in front. You will then access the next room where you will have to do some pounding, then climb the ladder to arrive right in the cellar of Honeydukes, in order to recover the dried Billywig darts that Garreth needs, which you can bring back to him in a few steps:
- Teleport with Floo Flame from the Great Hall.
- Meet in the entrance hall.
- Go back to Garreth Weasley.
To complete the quest, you are free to hand him the Dried Billywig Stingers or ask him for some sort of compensation. The quest ends with Garreth promising you to be one of the first people to taste his drink.
