Each puzzle has its difficulty level, and also the reward size associated with it. This puzzle of the courtyard of the Viaduct presents the key to substantial gains. Indeed, it offers players three chests after completing it, including a legendary chest. He stands sheltered from the unexpected onslaught of enemies, within the walls of Hogwarts castle.
Overpass Yard Bridge Puzzle Solving in Hogwarts Legacy
To achieve this, you need to ignite all four braziers and set their Roman numbers accordingly. Then you'll spot the riddle in the Great Hall of Hogwarts Castle, near the Floo Flame in the Viaduct courtyard.
To ignite the braziers, you must first have learned a fire spell, such as Incendio, which can be acquired after completing Professor Hecat's first mission, which consists of:
- Win two matches of magic jousting.
- Complete a match of Spell Combo Practice with Lucan Brattleby.
Once you have passed these tests, you can return to Professor Hecat's class, who will teach you your first fire spell (by the way, you can use any fire spell to solve this puzzle).
To get the Roman numeral associated with each brazier, you will need to consult the grid that is on the bridge. This contains the solution to the riddle of the Viaduct Courtyard Bridge, because you can see the Roman numeral for each symbol. After that, you'll have to respond by looking at the brazier and looking for your symbol.
Here are the Roman numerals for each symbol:
- I: Triangle with lines as a symbol.
- II: Crescent moon with a line symbol.
- III: Triangle with a circle symbol.
- IV: Diamond with an X symbol.
To place each symbol under its appropriate number, you must interact with each brazier. But you have to ignite the braziers first before you can interact with them.
Once the puzzle is correctly solved, the grid mechanics will kick in and open a hole in the bridge. This opening leads under the Viaduct courtyard bridge, where you'll find the three reward chests: two normal and one legendary. You can even use the save trick in Hogwarts Legacy to open one of the chests and earn specific legendary gear.
