This fiction tells the adventures of a serial killer who attacked young men. At the moment, the series is among the most watched programs. Check out the summary of the real story, below.

A hit movie
The series has already been on the Netflix platform since last Wednesday. Dhamer-monster: a Jeffrey Dahmer story, the series reconstructs the case of the "Milwaukee cannibal". Jeffrey Dahmer committed numerous crimes: rape, necrophilia, cannibalism, dismemberment of 17 young men in the years 78 and 91.
However, in the series, Ryan Murphy, the master of all these horrors, spares viewers very little of the assassin's atrocities. In fact, the series falls into the "true crime" category. It's a story that alludes to real events.
Today, the series has already been a ratings success since its launch last Wednesday. However, among Dahmer's victimized families, disagreement with the series has been noted.
In fact, one of the victims' family members gave his opinion of the series on his Twitter account. The series has indeed brought back to light some monstrous events for many families victimized by the serial killer. The victims think the series is traumatic.
Meticulously reconstructed crimes
Dahmer: Monster is a new series by Ryan Murphy of American Crime Story and Ian Brennan of Glee. Since its release, the series has been a hit on Netflix. It consists of 10 episodes.
The saga follows the journey of a serial killer who murdered 17 young men. The character is played by Evan Peters, best known from American Horror Story. The series recounts the facts in a brutal fashion. The episodes build to a crescendo, showing the workings of the serial killer's sick mind.
It also shows how the villain was able to get away with it for such a long time, yet he wasn't exactly discreet. Dahmer is a racist and homophobic man. He preyed on young gays in particular: black, Latino and Asian men. Despite complaints from his neighbor, and from a boy who had managed to escape him, and even a prison sentence, he got away with it.
This fiction is a reconstruction of a true story. In fact, even the craziest scenes in the story actually happened. For your information, Netflix will release Jeffrey Dhamer: Autoportrait of a Killer on October 07.
Le réalisateur Joe Berlinger a avoué avoir eu accès à des archives vocales inédites. C’est-à-dire des extraits de conversation entre Dhamer et ses avocats. Cela pour rendre l’histoire claire et un peu plus proche de la réalité.

The first episode
Journalist Anne E. Schwartz investigated the case at length. Her book "Monster: The True Story of the Jeffrey Dahmer Murders" gives many details of the serial killer's life. In fact, it was in her book that we learned that Glenda Cleveland, the neighbor, actually existed.
She lived in the building opposite Dahmer. Then there was next-door neighbor Pamela Bass, who had also called the police several times. Indeed, Mrs. Bass was bothered by the foul odors coming from Dahmer's apartment.
In the series, Cleveland was chosen to represent a mix of the two neighbors. This was to simplify the plot. She was also present when victim Konerak Sinthasomphone emerged from Dahmer's apartment naked and unable to speak. She immediately called for help and the authorities.
The latter was indeed decorated by the town hall. At the time, it was reported that Dahmer offered sandwiches with dubious contents to his neighbors after cleaning his apartment. This was to apologize to them. It's unclear whether Cleveland got its share.
Tracy Edwards is the man who managed to escape from Jeffrey's home. He was even behind his arrest. This scene has been perfectly transcribed from the victim's testimony. And also the evidence and photos taken by the police in the villain's apartment.
However, Dahmer didn't have several locks as in the series, but only two clasps. This detail is due to Edwards' changing versions during interviews. It's understandable, since he was shocked by the attack. Edwards explained that Dahmer had to open two, then three locks.
For your information, all the details in the final scene are real, in particular: the discovery of the remains of human bodies in the fridge, morbid and pornographic shots, heaps of bloody torture objects. Evan Peters embodied his role very well, moreover his taste in cinema speaks volumes. Indeed, during the audition, he cited: The Exorcist III, Return of the Jedi as being his favorite film.
The second episode
The second episode of the series is undoubtedly the film's most striking and, above all, most shocking scene. The scene where the officers tried to help a naked 14-year-old boy with a bloody skull, unable to speak, coming out of Dahmer's apartment. This victim was taken in by the neighbor.
In real life, there were three of them: John Balcérzak, Joseph Gabrish and Rick Porubcan. When the authorities arrived, Dahmer insisted that the young man was her boyfriend of 19 years and had had too much to drink. During the investigation, one of the police officers mentioned a strange smell in the apartment.
However, they did not carry out a search. As they left, they alluded to homophobic jokes on the police radio. In truth, the telephone exchange between Glenda and Balcerzak did take place. This is a real conversation.
The only change from the reality film is that the officers were not decorated by their superiors after Dahmer's arrest. This scene was invented in order to create a disturbing parallel with the decoration in very small committee of Glenda. This event actually happened.
