There are different chests in the Hogwarts Legacy game, normal chests with gold, chests with eyes (we did a tutorial on how to open them).
Collection chests contain skins (cosmetics for your wands) and conjuration recipes for the Room of Requirement.

35 chests in Hogwarts:
there are 35 chests which are distributed like this:
- Astronomy wing = 6 chests
- The wing of the bell tower = 6 chests
- The south wing = 5 chests
- The great room = 3 chests
- Library annex = 8 chests
- The grand staircase = 7 chests
5 in Hogsmeade Village:
In the village there are only 5 chests to find.
117 chests in the open world:
