Created by a Japanese developer known as Pocket PairThe game has been out since January 19, 2024 and is already one of the best-selling video games of the year so far, with more than 5 million copies sold.

Palworld can be played on computer, Xbox One and Xbox Series in single-player and multiplayer modes. The game takes you to an open world called Palpagos Islands, populated by Pals with special powers. These creatures resemble animals. The player must be equipped with a firearm and must capture the Pals using the famous Pals spheres. However, it is also necessary to fight them in order to create a base, but also to defeat potential enemies. There are several types of Pals, distinguished by their powers: water, plant, earth, etc.

What are the different types of Pals in Palworld?

The Palpagos Islands are home to a hundred Pals different. Some have the ability to fly, others can eject streams of energy, and there are even those who can power your kitchen. Since this is a survival game, food is a necessity. However, their specific characteristics may be similar or different, depending on each Pal and the powers they possess. So what are these different types of Pals? As a reminder, Pals are divided into 5 basic typesof which :

• Plant
• Water
• Earth
• Electricity

On the other hand, there are other derived types of these elementary categories: 

• Ice
• Darkness
• Dragon
• Floor
• Normal

What are the weaknesses and resistances of each type of Pals?

In this quest for Pals, it is important to note that each creature has its own resistance and its own weakness, depending on its base element. Therefore, the outcome of a battle depends heavily on your strategy in choosing the right Pals by gauging their weaknesses and resistances. Lamball, Cattiva and Chikipi are the first Pals you will encounter in the game. They resemble a sheep, a pink cat, and a chicken. As you progress through the game, you will encounter other creatures such as Kelpsea Ignis or Broncherry, even rare Pals.

To adopt the right strategy, you need to know that : 

• The Fire is more powerful than Ice and Plant. On the other hand, it is lower than Water
• The type Plant is stronger than Earthbut lower than the Fire
• The Earth is stronger than Electricity  but lower than the Fire
• Type Pals Electricity are stronger against water. However, it is more fragile when faced with Earth
• Water is powerful against Firebut weak against Electricity
• The Pals de Ice are dominant against the Dragonbut weakens in the presence of the Fire
• The type Dragon is fierce against the type Darknessbut fragile against the type Ice
• Type Pals Darkness have the advantage of strength over other types Neutralbut are less resistant to Dragon
• Neutral types have no strength and are at the mercy of other types. Darkness
