The Ouija board is part of cursed objects of Phasmophobia, using tarot cards or a crystal ball. It allows you to communicate directly with the phantom and gather valuable information for your investigation. The catch: every question you ask leads to a mental health impairment.
You can find it at predefined locations According to the map: often in a closet, a basement or placed on the floor of a room. It doesn't appear in every level, so it's a bit of a gamble.
The real danger comes when your mental health gets too low to “pay” for the next question. The Ouija board breaks then triggers a cursed hunt immediately. Keep an eye on your gauge and take some mental health pills before continuing, if necessary.
Ouija Board User Guide
To enable the Ouija board, make sure you have empty-handed, then do a left click on top. It starts to glow: it’s ready. Once it’s active, ask your question out loud, and your mind will respond by moving the cursor to the plateau.
Important note: the speech recognition of Phasmophobia works in English. It doesn't understand your entire sentence, but it detects some key words Be specific. If you don't get a response, it's often because your question wasn't recognized.

Every question asked of the Ouija board results in a mental health impairment directly. The amount varies depending on the question: ask for the location costs about 50 %, while other questions cost much less (5 % to 10 % (approximately).
The mental health impairment It adds up quickly if you ask questions one after another. Keep an eye on your gauge at all times and take mental health pills if it drops too low.
