1 - Put waste to good use

What's more, some monsters are stronger than others, so a single weapon is not enough to fight a forest giant. However, you can crush a trap flea or a hoarding insect. You may also come across a laser pointer, which will act as a source of light or an indicator for your team.
2 - Keep an eye on your weight and stamina
Endurance level will be measured on the curved orange bar at the top left of your screen. It's depleted during sprinting and swimming, and will decrease rapidly depending on the weight you're carrying. If your endurance is completely depleted, recovery will be slower. So you need to be careful to avoid this as much as possible. On the other hand, if you have to run away from an enemy, drop everything you're carrying to increase your chances of escape.
3 - Take inventory
You have 4 inventory slots, represented by blue boxes at the bottom of your screen. Small items such as dustpan and eggbeater also occupy an inventory slot, indicated by a gear symbol. Use your mouse's scroll wheel to toggle between active slots. Flashlights, signs and horns can also be used by pressing [LMB] when the object is in your active inventory slot.
On the other hand, large objects, i.e. large axles, require both your hands, i.e. you can't pick anything up or use other objects while you're holding it. However, when you come across several pieces of garbage, you can drop the large object, pick up the smaller one and then pick up the large one again.
4 - Only make useful purchases
You can purchase items via the terminal console on the ship:

5 - Know your doors

- Firstly, the ship's hydraulic doors can be closed manually from the inside, using a panel located to the left of the door.
- However, these doors will only remain closed for a short time.
- The main entrance to each moon is usually a set of double doors.
- Normal-looking doors inside the facility that are locked require a key located inside the door.
- Sealed metal security doors can be opened manually by an ally on board the ship.
- If you find and remove a device, the entire ship's power supply will be cut, allowing all sealed doors to be opened.
- Fire doors also offer alternative entry and exit routes. In the event of flooding, some of these exits may be submerged. So if you find yourself underwater, you'll have to turn around and enter via the emergency exit.
