How long does it take to finish Undertale?
Undertale is a Independent RPG signed Toby Fox, released on September 15, 2015 on computer.
In the game, you control a child who has fallen into the’Underground, an underground region separated from the surface by a magic barrier and teeming with monsters. Your quest: to find a way back to the surface by crossing the areas inhabited by these monsters.
The combat system combines turn-by-turn and dodge: you must avoid the projectiles fired by the monsters you encounter, then you choose to’attack to kill orsave your opponent.
This choice changes the dialogues, the characters, and the storytelling—which explains why the length varies from one route to another. That's what makes this Game an experience you can play over and over again.
HowLongToBeat It takes about 6 to 7 hours to complete the main story and about 21 hours to play through as a completionist, but it doesn't break down the routes individually. Here is the estimate route by route, for a relaxed first playthrough:

On the Genocide route, you must clear each zone of its monsters before you can move on: the counter must reach zero. This is a grind per zone, not a preparation step before each boss.
A speedrunner An experienced player can finish the game in less than 2 hours, but for the average player, 6 to 8 hours is a realistic estimate for a first playthrough.
Since the game is in English by default, you can put Undertale in French using a patch.
How do you finish Undertale at 100 %?
To complete the game at 100 %, you must fill out the 3 main routes and uncover all the optional or hidden content.
Defeat the Special boss
Every road has its own iconic boss:
- Neutral Route: Flowey.
- Genocide Route: Sans, which players say is the most challenging battle in the game.
- Pacifist Route: Asriel.
Discover all related and hidden content
- Meeting with Papyrus and Undyne, Dog Shrine, hidden dialogs.
- Get all the unique items.
- Visit all the locations in the’Underground.
- To find Temmie Village and pay the tuition for Temmie to Tem Shop to unlock the armor Temmie.
- See all alternative purposes.
- Enter the Real Laboratory (True Lab).
- Unravel the mystery of Gaster, a rare occurrence.
Unlock trophies (excluding PC)
On a PC, there's nothing to check: Undertale is a complete flop Steam. the 100 % is based solely on the in-game content.
The console versions include: 30 trophies on PS4 and PS Vita, 21 hits out of Xbox One.
Keep in mind that these don't really reflect your progress: you mainly earn them by giving gold to the Dog Shrine and by reaching certain areas, none of which is tied to a specific outcome.
