History of Trancheur

Slicers are outcasts, exiles, and criminals who, for one reason or another, have been forced to leave the rigidly disciplined dwarf society. Many have been forced to survive in caves beyond the safe confines of their cities, or have gone to the surface to seek their fortune as mercenaries and bandits.

Today, as the dwarf champions march forward, these outcasts are offered full pardon if they take up arms in the name of their family and their king. Many have seized this opportunity and flock to Lumaya's chosen ones, armed with their swords and little else. These warriors have little to lose and often fight like madmen for that very reason.
