Story of Tentatrice

While Lumaya brings us the purity of love, Siroth relies on pure carnal desire. He tempts with excess and indulgence, luring more and more willing servants into his net wherever he can. Such was the fate of a vain and greedy young nobleman from Kaerok, who wanted nothing more than to improve his position in power and his lot in life.

Thanks to the magic of Siroth's necromancers and his own actions, he received a vampire's "kiss" and transformed himself into an undead beast. But his pact with the Shadow remained firm, as the nobleman was allowed to retain his beloved human appearance - for a time, at least.

One can only imagine the shock and surprise of this wicked seducer when he came face to face with another of Siroth's servants, known as the Tempter. The child of a vampire and a mortal, she was as vain and self-confident as he. And despite all his attempts to gain the upper hand, the Seducer only succeeded in catching himself in his own trap.

For even the darkest heart can sometimes be illuminated by Lumaya's light, and he found himself hopelessly in love with and subject to the whims of the woman he sought to outshine. Yet perhaps it's not such a horrible fate, for despite their mutual wickedness and unsavory practices, these two go together as well as a werewolf and a full moon. This bond is hard to deny, and even overcomes the deep-seated selfishness that characterizes them both.
