The Quest for the Ultimate Sakapatate in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 takes place in two steps: talking to Karatom, then retrieve a Mushroom to Nest of Esquie. As a result, you get the Gustave's "Pure" Outfit.

Part 1: Talking to Karatom
Go to the Gestrals Village, a checkpoint you can reach fairly early in the adventure. Once you're there, head toward the Sakapatate manufacturing area, where the Gestrals are busy working on their recipes.
That's where you run into Karatom, who's hard at work on his creation. He's asking you to give him a hand with improve the recipe and sends you to get a specific ingredient: a Mushroom.
Part 2: Retrieving the Mushroom
Let's head to the Nest of Esquie, which you can access by progressing through the game as usual. Here are our tips for finding the Mushroom without getting lost in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 :
- Enter the first tunnel from the Nid d’Esquie.
- On the way out, Turn right and look down : You'll see a Mime and mushrooms behind him.
- Bypass the Mime and retrieves the Mushroom hiding behind the pillar.
Remark : you aren't You don't have to face the Mime to retrieve the Mushroom.
With the mushroom in your pocket, head back to the Gestrals Village and give the item to Karatom. He will then force you to face his creation. Check out our guide to beat the Ultimate Sakapatate.
Once the boss has been defeated, Karatom Thank you, and you win the outfit Pure by Gustave as a reward.
