How do I get to the principal's office in Hogwarts Legacy: the highest point in the castle?
As many of you already know, the highest point in the castle is none other than the principal's office. So, if you want to reach the highest point in Hogwarts Legacy, this is the place to be! But how do you get there?
Most of the doors inside Hogwarts School are locked, and you won't be able to discover the secrets hidden there until you progress through the game's main story and unlock the unlock spell , Alohomora.
To obtain the means to cast this spell, you must complete the quest : The concierge's lunar complaintgiven by concierge Gladwin Moon. You will then be able to open Level 1 locks, but you will need to open a level 3 lock to enter the director's office and obtain the trophy and achievement: A breathtaking view.
For unlocking Level 3 locks:
- You must first complete the side quest The Man Behind the Moons, which can be obtained by talking to Mr. Moon.

Where is the manager's office and how do I get there?
Once you've unlocked the Level 3 locks, you can start looking for the highest point of Hogwarts Castle, the Headmaster's Office. You may get lost if you don't pay attention to your surroundings, given the vastness of Hogwarts, but the path to the principal's office is fairly straightforward. To get there, you have two choices:
- Flying :
The easiest way to get there is byuse a broom and of fly towards it. You'll learn to fly by progressing through the main story and taking the first flying course. Once you've completed the course, you can return to Hogsmeade and buy a broom from Spintwitch's Sporting Needs.
To fly to the director's office, you need to to the top of the Grande Tour and land on the balconywhere the locked access door is located.

You'll have to walk to the top of the grand staircase to reach the director's office. But before you can reach the top, you'll first need to complete the main story quest: The Polynectar Plot. As long as you can open the level 3 locks with Alohomora, you can continue to the trophy room.
Then, leaving the trophy room and turning left, you'll come to a level 2 locked door, behind which is the door to the manager's office.
Once these two doors unlocked, you can enter the director's office, and obtain the trophy and success: A breathtaking view.
