Using Ashwinder Eggs in Hogwarts Legacy
Ashwinder Eggs are an ingredient of some potions in the game, such as the Edurus Potion, which requires an Ashwinder Egg and Dog Fur to brew. The Edurus potion gives the drinker protective rocky skin, which can be an invaluable extra defense when facing powerful enemies like trolls or large groups of enemies simultaneously. By unlocking the Room of Requirement, you can brew larger quantities of potions like Edurus there by purchasing and using tables with more pots to maximize the yield.
Where to find it?
It is much faster and more reliable to obtain Ashwinder Eggs by purchasing them from the J. Pippins potion shop in Hogsmeade, where they are sold at 150 galleons gold each. Some vendors on the world map also offer them, such as Fatimah Lawang in Pont-Désir, which you visit as part of the side quest An Urgent Delivery after obtaining a broom. However, supply is limited to 5 bundles at a time, so if you want more, you'll have to look further afield.
