How can I take part in the "Partners in Pastry" event on Monopoly Go?

There's currently an event available only in certain countries. In our article, I'll give you a tutorial on how to unlock the event and play it with friends!

How do I unlock this "Patissier Partner" event?

Please follow the tutorial in its entirety and follow everything I write to the letter to avoid any errors. If you don't manage to do so, please go back to the beginning of the tutorial and do what I did.

Step 1 = Uninstall Monopoly Go

To avoid losing your backup, you must first uninstall the game (make sure your Monopoly Go account is linked to your Facebook account).

To do this, hold down Monopoly Go and click on Uninstall.

Step 2 = Use NordVPN

To do so, you can create an account here :

Once you've created your account and installed the NordVPN application on your phone, you can move on to the next step.

Step 3 = Change location on NordVPN

Please change your location to Portugal.

If you weren't connected before, launch NordVPN. If you want to know exactly where Portugal is, look for it on the map (bottom left of France). Then connect to Lisbon.

Step 4 = Reinstall the game

You can now reinstall the game.

To do this :

• Go to Playstore/Applestore, and install Monopoly Go (while connected to Portugal).
• Once you've requested it, start playing the game and unlocking events.

To play, you will needinvite friends. To do this, share the link to this article on your social networks, messaging your friends and family.

If you don't, you won't be able to play with them and get rewards (Playing with people you know is better than playing with random people who won't make the points).

Answers to your questions:

Does being in Portugal change anything?

No, just to unblock the vent. You can always return to your position in France afterwards. You may have to return to Portugal during the event, but for now, logging in is enough.

Will it be the same account?

Yes, it'll be the same account. Nothing changes, you'll get the same rewards, it just unlocks the events.

I don't have NordVPN and it asks me to pay?

I created the tutorial with the VPN I personally use. I don't want to use a free VPN because they sell all our information when we use them.

So, while you can use a free VPN, you're ultimately taking more risk. But if you have another paid VPN, you can use it.

For example, I use my VPN for Netflix. This allows me to own a catalog in France even though I live abroad.
