Amit Thakkar (voiced by Asif Ali) is one of the companions you can adventure with during your time in Hogwarts Legacy. He's a student at Serdaigle House, and you can befriend him while you study.
Amit has high aspirations for his first memoir and hopes to become a recognized wizarding historian. He's exceptionally bright and red-haired, loves star gazing, and always seems to have the best telescope available. Amit is always ready to lend a helping hand to a comrade in need, but once he's in the middle of things, he often realizes he would have been better off reading or writing about the experience.
Unlike the other companions, Amit has only two quests available, both of which are main quests. Completing the Astronomy class quest is essential to unlock astronomy tables, which can be found in the Highlands for rewards.
