One of the first things to do in Hogwarts Legacy when you arrive at Hogwarts School is to choose your house, which is not necessarily obvious. If you are already leaning towards the Ravenclaw house, these 5 reasons could confirm your choice.

#1: The Quality of Ravenclaw Students
The house of Ravenclaw is home to students with very high potential. Ravenclaws are indeed scholars with a thirst for wisdom and a passion for learning, especially astronomy. Being very creative, most Ravenclaw students have made inventions, such as Ignatia Wildsmith who invented Floo Powder. If you want to be part of it, this should already give you a reason to choose this house.
N°2: Famous characters in Harry Potter
Ravenclaw has welcomed some of the most famous characters in Harry Potter, including Cho Chang, Penelope Deauclaire and Ollivander. You will also find there professors (apart from professor Flitwick) quite pleasant like Dinah Hecat, the professor of Defense against the Dark Arts, or the professor of astronomy Satyavati Shah (to be confirmed). But we must not forget Amit Thakkar who will be your companion in Ravenclaw.
#3: How Ravenclaw House Was Founded
Symbolized by its blue and silver colors and by its totem animal which is the eagle, Ravenclaw was built, like the 3 other houses, in the times of the Middle Ages. It was founded by Rowena Ravenclaw, whose legend tells us a lot of praise. Unfortunately, she died of an illness caused by her own daughter running away with her Tiara. Moreover, the latter has become the Gray Lady, the ghost of Ravenclaw. But Ravenclaw is still a very good choice of house in Hogwarts Legacy thanks to all the virtues that its founder wanted to add to it.
#4: What can be found in the Ravenclaw common room
Rounded in shape and housed in one of the towers, it is specified in the books that you have to climb stairs to access it. And it's the only common room in all the houses that requires a puzzle to enter. Its interior features rainbow windows and blue silk accent rugs. There is also a huge statue of Rowena Ravenclaw and above all a ceiling painted with a starry sky. With grimoires, chess and telescopes, and various objects for study, the Ravenclaw common room has everything it takes for curious minds, like its students.
N°5: A few remarks on Ravenclaw
From her English name Ravenclaw, Ravenclaw is represented by a raven in the films, although her totem animal has always been the eagle in the books (regardless of her name) and besides concerning her colors, it is originally bronze and blue. As for the Ravenclaws, they seem nice, but are endowed with a very competitive spirit, even among themselves, and do not spare their efforts during tournaments to obtain good marks.
So if you think your personality fits those descriptions, Ravenclaw house is for you.
