- Released by the mini-boss Commander O'Neil located in a clearing in the Aeonia swamp east of Caelid. This location is south-west of Sellia.
How to use the Pure Gold Needle in Elden Ring?
- The Pure Gold Needle can be used to ward off interference from outside gods.
- By returning the Pure Gold Needle to Scarlet Aeonia after the battle of Malenia, Lame de Miquella, the player will receive the Miquella Needle and a Dark Ancient Dragon Forge Stone.
- The pure gold needle that grants Miquella's needle only works after completing Millicent's quest. Trying to return the repaired needle to Scarlet Aeonia without giving it to Millicent (and thus starting her quest proper) won't work.
- After completing Millicent's quest and collecting the unalloyed gold needle, the description changes:
- An intricately crafted, unalloyed gold needle.
- Taken from Millicent's flesh. It bears no trace of soiled blood, but is slightly moist with dew.
