As expected, Pokémon GO players are once again invited to take up a collection and field study challenge as part of the event entitled: Lets GO!. This new Pokémon GO event featuring Meltan kicked off in San Francisco on March 21. For this edition, Niantic has prepared another collector's contest, in which the hunt for the Metamorph will be one of the main tasks to be accomplished. We will see the list of events that the Pokémon GO collector's challenge has in store for you in this new event with Meltan, as well as the procedure for the field quest.

Progress of the Collector's Challenge with Metamorph and the “Lets GO! in Pokémon Go
As usual, for the Collector's Challenge, you will once again have to capture a series of Pokémon that will show up with increased frequency throughout the contest. You may also come across these Pokémon while exploring on the playing field. Completing the Collector's Challenge with Shifter requires field research. These studies will make it easier for you to capture the Pokémon you add to your collection.
The steps to follow during the “Lets GO! » from Pokémon Go
These new events happen fairly quickly, so it's best to finish them first. You will be able to win spawns of Flotajou (Panpour), Feuillajou (Pansage) and Flamajou (Pansear). These three Pokemon (which will eventually take on their shiny forms) will come in handy for the Collector's Challenge, so you better tackle different missions at the same time to be sure to get them. Here are the tasks to complete and the rewards you will earn for completing them:
- Capture 3 Metamorphs: Flotajou (Panpour), Feuillajou (Pansage), Flamajou (Pansear).
- Capture 10 Pokémon: 10 PokéBalls
- Catch 12 Pokémon: 15 Super Balls
- Trade 15 Pokémon: 10 Pokéballs

To complete this challenge with the Metamorph, you will have several steps to complete, the most complicated of which is to unmask and capture it because its presence is difficult to spot on the map. Try to catch the following Pokémon if you see one because it could be a Metamorph (Ditto):
- Molecatcher (Diglett)
- Tadmorv (Grimer)
- Snubbull
- Squib (Corphish)
- Staralili
- Nodulith (Roggenrola)
- Tritonde (Tympole)
- Helionceau (Litleo)
To successfully capture the Metamorph (Ditto), catch as many Pokémon as possible in the hope of finding a Metamorph in your collection. As you must have caught the Pokémon to know if it is a Metamorph before having it in your possession, stock up on Pokéballs, especially since you will have to capture several Pokémon to pass the Collector's Challenge:
- Shapeshifter (Ditto)
- Feuillajou (Grooming)
- Flamajou (Pansear)
- Flotajou (Panpour)
The Collector's Challenge will reward you with 5,000 XP as well as a meeting with the star of the moment. You will thus have the possibility of obtaining the Meltan Shiny.
