Quidditch is not available in the game but you can use the broom for races but especially to move around the map.
How to unlock the Hogwarts Legacy broom?
You have to progress in the main quest. You will get the broom after the quest: Flight Class (to learn how to fly). It takes about 6H to get to this stage if you follow the main mission.
Right after this quest you will be able to go to Hogsmeade to buy your first broom at Spintwitches. You will have the choice between 5 brooms, the brooms have exactly the same statistics so no need to choose which is the best, it will be according to your taste!
Later when you are in a place with open sky and not many people around, you can take out your broom with the left button of the controller and Circle (ps5) / B (xbox) to mount your broom.
How to improve your broom in Hogwarts Legacy?
After buying your broom, you have to go back to the Spintwitches shop. He will offer you a total of 3 quests, to improve your flight and therefore improve your brooms (buy the improvements.)
