In the comics Marvel, the strongest of them all is still Nate Grey, also known as X-Man. He is less well known in the film industry. Nate Grey was created in a laboratory by Mister Sinister, based on the combined DNA of Jean Grey and of Scott Summers (Cyclope). So it is a mutant artificially designed. Its capabilities are staggering:

Tornado (Ororo Munroe)

The Beast (Hank McCoy / Beast)
The Beast, real name Hank McCoy (Beast), is both a scientific genius and a formidable fighter. His mutation gives him superhuman strength, cat-like agility, and—in his most advanced form—a body covered in blue fur.

Gambit

Colossus (Peter Rasputin)

Havok (Alex Summers)
Havok, whose real name is Alex Summers, is the brother of Scott Summers (Cyclope).
