Biography of Daniel Roussel
Daniel Roussel was born on December 19, 1941 at Charenton-le-Pont, in France. He trained at the National Center for Dramatic Arts at Paris, and then to the New York University. Over the course of his career, he went through three major phases: actor, director, and then voice actor. Little is known about his family life. To date, no official obituary has been released regarding him. Daniel Roussel never took a public stance on political issues.
The actor (from 1967 onward)
Daniel Roussel began his career as actor in 1967, upon arriving in Canada with a theater troupe for the’Montreal World's Fair. Charmed by the country, he decided to stay there after the event.
On the big screen, he has appeared in several Quebec films, including Peau de Banane, Caroline, À guichet fermé : le mari, la femme et la mort and Les Bergers by Christian Beaulieu.
The director (beginning in 1977)
