Instagram was first launched in October 2010 by Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger. It is now one of the most downloaded social applications in the world. Instagram's service is all about sharing multimedia data, i.e. photos and videos.
When a user wants to move on to deleting all those photos, it can be a very difficult task. Luckily, if you are still unsure whether you are going to permanently delete the photo or not, deleting Instagram temporarily is entirely possible.

Currently, there is not yet a way where deleting your photos in bulk is done temporarily. Because of this, we advise you to think many times before moving to permanent removal. To do this, we offer two alternatives.

The tool you will need for this first method will mainly be a computer and access to your Instagram account. After turning on your computer and after you have finished connecting to the Internet, follow the procedure below:
- First, log in to Instagram,
- Then proceed to view your profile,
- All you have to do is select all your photos with your mouse before deleting them permanently. And now, voila !
Mass removal from online tool
Did you know that specific applications allow you to instantly delete all the data you no longer need? Yes, it's possible. Whether it's a message, photo, video or even a publication, all you have to do is select and delete. Using an application also makes the task easier.
The most popular app if you're using an Android is "Instant Cleaner". For those who prefer iOS devices, "Instaclean" is perfect. It's important to note that downloading is free, but updates are not.
In both cases, the removal process is the same. First, you need to download the application. Once downloaded, access your data on your Instagram account. For selection, by long-pressing your last photo, all the others will be selected automatically. Now all you have to do is press "delete" and you're done.
Archiving your favorite photos on Instagram
In case you are about to go for deletion, and you come across a photo that is close to your heart, the best thing to do is to delete it online, but keep it in private mode. This latter method is called image archiving. It will allow you to put the photo back online later. To do this, you must:
- Deselect this image from what you are going to delete.
- After deleting the junk, all you have to do is select the rest.
- Then click on the "three dots icon" located in the upper right corner of your screen.
- When the small window opens, all you have to do is click on “Archive”.
By doing so, only you will be able to see the archived photos.
