All different biomes on Valheim.
In the game Valheim, there are several types of biome with resources or other different things.
All types of biomes:
- The prairies : Starting area of the game, we advise you for your BASED on Valheim
- Black Forest : Darker forest with more enemies. Gives more superior resource
- Swamp : More hostile area with dead trees
- plains : Hot area with sand and lots of rocks
- Ocean : An Ocean biome, no need to explain I think ^^
- mountains : Cold area with lots of snow
- Scorched Lands: Not yet developed, more on that later
- Far North: Not yet developed, more on that later
- Arid Lands: Not yet developed, more on that later

Areas of interest in Valheim:
Areas of interest with loot:
- Abandoned house: Ruin of a wooden house. You can find chests and loot inside.
- Abandoned Outpost: Ruined tower made of stone. there are Draugrs outside and crows flying around. You can find a chest inside.
- Small Ruin: Ruin of a stone house this time. There is a chest inside but it is protected by Draugrs.
- Tower: A stone tower with torches, you have to climb up to find a chest
- Tomb: A small stone construction, protected by Draugrs, You can enter to fight lots of enemies. You will find chests with loot.
- Ruined Camp: Circular area surrounded by walls, a chest is inside. Forest trolls spawn in this location.
- Crypt: Is in the swamps, the green torches indicate their position. You will have to find a key to the swamp to get into it. You have to kill the 2nd boss to get it.
Areas of interest without loot (chest):
- Viking graveyard: Rock formation in the shape of a Viking ship
- Rune Stone: Large rock with red runes written on one side. Will give you the story of the game, the Lore.
- Stonehenge: a place surrounded by about five rocks. Stonehenge for historic site in England
- Clearing: Area covered with earth and a tree stump which is surrounded by trees (really small)

The grassland biome:
The safest biome in Valheim. This is the biome where we all start.
A large expanse of grass, with rivers and lakes to find flint or even hills.
Trees :
You will find the following trees:
- spruces
- Birches
- Oak trees
The resources :
You can find :
- wood
- fine wood
- Mushroom
- Flint (around rivers)
- Dandelion
- Raspberry
- and stone
The creatures:
In each biome, there are different types of creatures.
Hostile creatures:
- Wild boar
- Greyling
- Neck
Non-Hostile Creatures:
- Stag
- Seagull
The Black Forest biome:
A huge darker forest. You find pines and firs. You find copper and tin in this biome.
Many more enemies in this area so watch out for yourself.

You can come across a merchant in the Dark Forest.
Dungeon:
You can stumble upon dungeons like the Troll Caves and Burial Chamber
The Swamp biome:
The swamp is a dangerous place. You can find iron ore in it. You really have to go there being good stuff. Or avoid the fights.
You can find a crypt, you will have to beat the second boss to get into it. The crypt is surrounded by green torch so easy to distinguish.

The Plains biome:
The plain is a large hot area, with hills. There are natives in the area

- wood
The creatures:
In each biome, there are different types of creatures.

- lox
- raw fulfilling
- Fuling Shaman
- Fuling
There are also insects. The Deathsquitos who will give you needles. They are really dangerous beware.
Non-Hostile Creatures:
- Stag
The Ocean biome:
You have to go there by boat because the endurance goes very quickly!

Large area filled with snow. You find wolves in the area.
Silver and obsidian ores can be found in the mountains.
