What is the Monopoly GO tournament?

The tournament is a limited-time solo eventoften 1 to 2 days. It's an individual event: there are no teams—you play alone against other players. The goal is simple: earn points to climb the leaderboard.

A ranking system is being established to reward those who accumulate the most.

Here's what the ranking looks like:

To score points, you have to land on the Stations on the board. The number of points depends on the action taken: one closure or one bank robbery do not mean the same thing.

The goal is to create a maximum number of points at the Plateau Stations to climb the rankings and earn better rewards.

The "Chance" spaces on the game board can also affect your progress depending on current events.

What are the rewards of Monopoly GO tournaments?

You can know the prizes for each tournament in advance : I post an article online for each new tournament, with the complete list of prizes.

Here are the rewards you usually receive:

• Regarding the sticker packs to complete your album
• Regarding the counters, shields and reactions

What are the tips for Monopoly GO tournaments?

Winning first place at every tournament is difficult, and often, it isn't even profitable.

Here are the tips I use myself for this mobile game.

Don't try to score too many points

Aim for the TOP 1, or even the TOP 3, seems profitable. In reality, it almost never is.

Stop as soon as you've collected all the milestone rewards, that is, once you've completed all the stages of the tournament.

Imagine you are TOP 7 and that you've already achieved everything. Continuing to try for the No. 1 spot could cost you 10,000 dice only to regain 2 000 through the rankings.

It's not worth the effort. The only exception: you're very close to the No. 1 spot and the tournament is ending soon.

In any case, always compare the expenses incurred and the game's wins in addition.

Your ranking depends on your score in the previous tournament

If you score a lot of points and place well, you'll then be placed with stronger players in the next tournament. Conversely, a low score pits you against weaker players.

So sometimes I play in certain tournaments less often. For example, if there isn't a special event (Peg-E, event Partners or event Treasures) but if something comes up the next day, I limit my points.

I end up with weaker players, and the TOP 3 becomes more accessible for better rewards, such as picks from the Treasures event or sticker packs to complete my album.

Play during certain boosts

Some boosts are really worth checking out during a tournament. To find out their schedules, I update the article every day at Daily boosts: Monopoly GO along with those scheduled for the next day.

And if you manage to combine multiple boosts at the same time, that's even better for maximizing your rewards.

I mostly play with the boost High Roller. Note: You must enough dice to play as a High Roller—otherwise, you'll lose them quickly. With this boost activated, your dice multiplier is higher, and you'll advance through the reward tiers much faster.

I also play during the boost Méga Braquage. During this boost, each bank heist earns more points :

As you can see in the image, the "Mega Heist" adds 12 points. That'll help you climb the rankings much faster. And if you combine Mega Heist + High Roller, you'll maximize your points even more.

The Boost Sticker Boom is also a great feature during a tournament: it increases the number of stickers you earn, which helps you fill out your album as you compete in the rankings.

And if a Golden Blitz is active, this is the perfect time to combine all your boosts: the sticker rewards are much higher.
