It exists two methods to get this Darkness-type Pokémon in Pokémon GO : Rename your Eevee, or make it your Pokémon Buddy. Here's how to do it, step by step.
Method #1: Rename your Eevee

Method #2: Set Evoli as a Pokémon Buddy
Unlike a nickname, this second method can be used an infinite number of times, but it comes with one major restriction: you have to click “Evolve.” between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. (game time). Outside of this time frame, your Eevee will evolve into Mentali, its Psychic-type evolution, not Noctali.
Set your Eevee as Pokémon Buddy by following these steps:
- Go to your friend's profile page.
- Press the button “Changing Boyfriends”.
- Confirm by clicking “Yes,” then select your Évoli.
Once you've set your Eevee as your buddy, all that's left is to walk with it:
- At least one lap 10 km with your Évoli to activate the “Upgrade” button.
- Keep it as Pokémon Buddy throughout the entire process.
- You'll pick it up on the way 2 Eevee candies over these 10 km.
