How do I put an app back on the home screen?

Did you remove an app from your home screen and can't find it anymore? Good news: it's still installed on your phone—it's just tucked away somewhere else.

All you have to do is find it to... quickly access and slide it back into place in just a few seconds.

Add an app to the Android home screen

On android, the app hasn't disappeared—it's just been removed from the home screen. It's located in the app drawer, also known as «All Apps.».

To open this drawer, you have two options:

1. Swipe your finger toward the high from the home screen (or by swiping down, depending on the model).
2. Press the small one center icon located at the very bottom of the screen.
