In Elden Ring, items play a crucial role in the player's progression and survival in the Betweenlands. They come in a wide variety of categories, each with its own uses and effects. It's now possible to crafter items, but you need to be able to unlock the craft.

Notes on object manufacturing in Elden Ring
You can craft items anywhere, and items are placed directly in your consumables inventory for quick access. Crafting an item that is out of stock automatically fills that slot. However, crafting is not available when you are in combat with an enemy.
