Eleceed is a Korean manhwa which combines stock, comedy, and fantasy, written by Son Jae Ho and illustrated by Kim Hye Jin, also known by the pseudonym Zhena.

Published on Webtoon since 2018, it already has several hundred chapters and remains one of the action series the most popular ones right now.

Who are the characters in *Eleceed*?

The duo at the heart of the series consists of two characters who are complete opposites. Jiwoo is a a kind-hearted high school student, always ready to help others, with incredibly quick reflexes and superhuman speed.

Kayden, on the other hand, is a fugitive secret agent equipped with superpowers, trapped inside the body of a old, fat, hairy cat after an incident. Everything changes the day Jiwoo takes him in, thinking she’s simply rescuing a pet.

Together, with Jiwoo's speed and Kayden's intelligence, they manage to get along well despite everything and fight against the dark forces who want evil to rule the world. It is from this unlikely duo that the series derives all its charm.

The series also includes many supporting characters, most of the others awake (these humans with powers), sometimes allies, sometimes adversaries:

• Yoo Ji Suk : an awakened ally of Jiwoo.
• Woo In : a bright young man with a strong personality.
• Lee Soo Bin : Jiwoo's high school classmate.
• Yoo Ji Young : president of the association Shinhwa, considered the most powerful "awakened one" in Korea, and the sister of Yoo Ji Suk.
• Kang Soo Cheon and Kang Soo Man : two characters who are wide awake and revolve around the plot.
• Goo In Hyuk : a prominent figure in the world of the Awakened.
• Kartein : the greatest healer in the world of the Awakened, who eventually settles down at Jiwoo and Kayden.

Jiwoo uses her exceptional reflexes in his daily life to make the world a better place: rescuing animals in danger, helping those in need. Until the day he comes across Kayden, a secret agent trapped in a cat's body.
